Google AdSense is part of the Google advertising network that caters to website owners. AdSense allows content publishers the opportunity to earn revenue from their websites or blogs by inserting the ads on their web pages.

The advertisements automatically generate text ads that are relevant to the surrounding content. Each time an advertisement is clicked, the content publisher receives a portion of the cost-per-click (CPC), which is credited to their AdSense account. AdSense is one form of monetization that offers both website owners and advertisers a unique way to target potential customers and provide them with advertising relevant to their interests.
